i have a M1450G and im trying to restore it but i dont want to use recovery dvds. -actually i dont have any and also i dont want to have any- i did really look for it but i cant find any information about it.

i am asking that if there is a disk space for recovery procession on my HDD.

and if there is one -hopefully- what is the key kombination for it? someone on the forum did tell to another user to pres F8 but its for the windows system options page like safe-mod etc.

can anybody help me?

Start the "Disk Management" of XP (Control Panel - Computer Management - Disk Management), see if there's an additional partition (often with size of approx. 10 GB).
Probably there won't be one, I think the M1450 was without recovery partition, but with recovery CD. See also page 56 of the EasyGuide.
