!!!Fn Key and associated hotkeys not working!!!

Postby eliotroyano » Thu Oct 28, 2010 4:26 am

Hi friends. Like the title says I have a problem with functionality of the Fn + Fxxx hotkeys, those are not working. I reinstall WinXP + SP3 and use all the drivers from Fujitsu site and everything in the keyboard is working "OK" but without the function of volume control, brightness, WiFi, etc..... Then does exist any kind of driver/software specific for the keyboard/laptop to make it work? The laptop is an Amilo Pro V2060.
Thanks in advance for your help.

It seems like there is some software missing, which is often called launch manager or hotkey utility. Unfortunately there is no such software for some of the V-series Amilo pro.
Maybe some other user of a V-series laptop could tell you which software is in the autostart. Most likely it's here in the registry:
Code: Select all
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion

Then you could search for that software.

I suspected that.
What I actually meant was that somebody else with the same or a similar laptop should have a look for these applications on his computer. I'm very surprsed that there is no such download on the FTS site.

I'll ask in our german forum if somebody can help you out:

Edit:
I just got the tip that reinstalling the chipset driver might help. Usually you have to install that one first, before installing any other driver.
