Cannot find the model number?  Topic is solved

Postby Goaguy2 » Thu Sep 06, 2007 10:26 am

Hello

One of my friends has just got a Fujitsu-Siemens notebook.

The bottom of it says:
Amilo A
CY 26
BFY26011002.

We've tried to find some drivers for it at
http://support.fujitsu-siemens.com/com/ ... loads.html
But there is not a model called "CY26"?

The computer is containing a 1400mhz AMD Athlon 1600+.
I've tried to get the modelnumber using the "system information"-tool and Everest Home Edition. But it didn't work.

Which model does he have? Or can we find the drivers somewhere else?

Thank you.
Simon & Silas, Denmark.

Thank you very much. :)

But how do I see if it is a 6600 or 7600? You say it has something to do with the display. Is that the external screen - or the internal display device? And how do I see the difference?

Greetings
Simon
