No picture to external LCD TV, only to TFT/CRT is working

Postby kallek77 » Fri Sep 07, 2007 5:25 pm

Strange problem with Li 1818 XP pro. No picture at all when connecting to Samsung 32R87 LCD tv even with powerstrip on. Tv don't say "no signal", it goes off I think (black screen). When I switch VGA cable to old Ibm T30 picture comes instantly to TV. Have also tried connect to external monitor, it works fine with couple different TFT/CRT monitors (showing right resolution ie 1024x768 60hz). Could it be some kind off low-signal problem? Have tried many times to get picture, no luck except 2 times about 0,5sec of picture showing at the screen.

I cant help you with your problem I'm afraid ..... but I do have exactly the same problem as you.

It works fine with 19" TFT Monitor, but my Samasung TV behaves exactly as you described.

If anyone has any suggestions, I would be extremely grateful

I have the exact same problem with my Pi 1505. External displays work great, but when I connect the pc to my LG 37L2BR theres no picture. I've been searching with google for hours now, and still no answer to the problem.

I too have exaclty the same problem as kallek77, Philenfield and Jusaus
on my Li1818. Tried so many different things. New drivers, new operating systems, powerstrip, nothing seems to help the problem.

Why has this not be addressed yet!? It's clearly a problem a lot of people are having.

Come on Fujitsu - SOME help please??

P.S: This problem only seems to occur when connecting to a 32" or bigger screen. Works fine on a 26" screen and a 22" and a 17" As soon as you plug any 32" in..........Nothing, just a black screen. WHY!??! This is driving me mad.
