Location of Memory Slots

Postby janwilli » Wed May 31, 2006 11:23 am

Does anyone know where the memory slots are located in my Amilo M 1451G? (I suppose they are in the same place in all Amilo M's). I don't want to complete disassembly my computer, if it's not necessary.

I have the Amilo 1650G. There is no reference to RAM location in my easy guide, just a warning that RAM should only be replaced by a professional!! I just want to replace the 2 x 128 with 2 x 512

The memory slots are under your keyboard, too. According to marcus.fox you have to be very careful with the screws.

They are very hard to unscrew, you need special tools for to not destroy them...

To get to the RAM in the m1451g, you have to somehow split the top half with the keyboard from the bottom half as I understand it.
But which screws to unscrew?
The 2 at the back or some of the ones underneath?
