Fujitsu siemens amilo l7300 laptop help required!!!

Postby doirebhoy » Fri Sep 21, 2007 10:25 am

hi guys just found the site when looking for solutions to a few problems i have on my laptop.

the laptop is less than 2 years old and things are going wrong for me

il start with the cd drive. its nec dvdrw nd 6500a. One day i tried to burn a cd and no cd drive was found i couldnt load cds either. i checked my computer and the cd drive had dissapeared. random days this will appear and work but was wondering if there was a solution to this

also some of my keys dont work on my keyboard. the laptop is well looked after and has never had anything spilled on it. the keys include y delete 0 5 7 maybe a few others. again these keys work sometimes, very rarely that is and as they are working today i am trying to find a solution.

any help would be much appreciated

regards

Try to remove and reintegrate the drive.

Try to clean the keyboard.

wudnt have a clue how to do that with the drive i may ask someone to do it for me. When i go to dvice manager and scan hardware it comes up again but it will go away again

the keys are clean i read on another forum a while ago someone with the same problem. exact same keys so must be common with these laptops. couldnt find the forum then.

downloaded bios update from fujitsu siemens site and worked but after few hours it all went wrong again.

before the problems started the battery charger stopped working. it then started working again even tho when it was charging the indicator light was not on, i thought nothing of this until someone told me this could be the problem. now the battery charger has stopped working and the laptop battery is dead.

i was gonna buy another charger would this help or is the problem likely to be with the laptop

I'd recommend you install Windows again and if the problems still occur contact FSC support and ask for help. Seems to be some weird (hardware) problem that we cannot solve.
