I would like some help,which type of ram should i buy for amilo 3438G? I need 2gb.Witch mark is the best and the fastest for my nbook?Is there a module with cl2 speed,at 533Mhz?Some help please! I have 2 so-dimm 256mb at 433mhz and cpu is at 533mhz.i think this affects whole system and thats one the reason i want to upgrade.

Hi

In the past there were problems with Kingston RAM in this notebook. It is important to buy a brand.

I don't know any CL2 modules (for 533 MHz).

Finaly i found smthing.OCZ PC4200 1024MB VALUE SERIES 200PIN SODIMM OCZ25331024VSO Timings: 4-4-4-8,but as i read in manual the so-dimm should be PC2-4300 is there gona be a problem?as i searched the site of OCZ it fits to amilo M3438g and i understood that PC4200 is the name for 533mhz module.on the other hand PC2-4300 for 533mhz.comfuzing.... some help? :roll:

DDR and DDR2 are different. You need DDR2.
Standard DDR (="DDR1") modules support up to PC3200 - but AFAIK there are some overclocker modules (>PC3200) out there... these won't work.
