hello i have a problem with my amilo 1667g

when i left click on "this computer" it says its only running 800 mhz

but when i use mobilemeter it says 2.0ghz

i want it to always run 2.0ghz , i have turned all the powersaving options to "always on"

please help i have tried everything , formatted , new bios 1.05c but still when i left click on "this computer its running 800 mhz

Hi tha_boss,
thank you for posting to our English section of the amilo-forum.

The Windows display of the "current" CPU frequency is more a gimmick than a useful tool. That means that it is very often wrong, especially with AMD CPUs. So just ignore it.
If tools like mobilemeter and/or Everest say that the current speed is 2Ghz, then it is 2Ghz.
