Amilo 1650 G keyboard driver for Linux  Topic is solved

Postby Sofie » Fri Oct 05, 2007 9:20 am

Does anybody know how to get a driver for the keyboard to 1650 G. I am using Linux Ubuntu, and can not connect to the wireless internet because of the missing activation of the quick launch buttons. If there is no driver for linux to reconize the keyboard, I would like to know i I can disable the quick launch buttons. Does anyone know which keyboard the 1650 G has? In Ubuntu I can choose keyboard layout, but not even Fujitsu Siemens knows the name of the keyboard.
I have only found a driver for the quck launch buttons for windows, and this is an exe-file, which I do not know how to open in Ubuntu?

I do hope anyone can help or guide me.

Thanks.

Thank you so much. I tried using way 3, but I am not able to save, the access is denied. I probably have to ask that question another place?

Thanks!!!

I pressed alt + F2 and wrote "gksu gedit /etc/modprobe.d/options" in the terminal. Its working!

Though it still cant get on the internet, because it seems my notebook doesnt have an IP-adress? I will post that as a new topic.

Thanks!!!
