Hi!
I have the AmiloM3438G and is generally extremely satisfied.
One little problem has however crept out of the woodwork.
Since this laptop does a lot of travelling to varous greenlandic powerplants the keyboard has collected a lot of dirt/dust under the keys. Sometimes even to the extent of preventing the function of a key.
Vacuumcleaners or compressed air are NOT my preferred troublesolvers in this problem. A vacuumcleaner above the keyboard/on the keys generally has little or no effect under the keys. Compressed air has been known to simply blow the dirt/dust somwhere else where it does just as much (if not more) damage.
I would, as a result hereof, be very happy if anyone knew how to remove the keyboard on the M3438G.
The official helpdesk in Denmark told me to send the computer to service but as this probably will be a returning problem i´d much prefer to deal with the problem myself.
I once tried to remove the keyboard on another laptop. This proved to be a simple task involving 1 screw and two plastic clips, but i don´t seem to be able to figure out the proper procedure in this case.
I hope somone can/will help.
Regards Elodiesel
