Yes it is Amilo M3438 Model. . I just tried to turn on the Laptop few minutes ago. The LCD screen light up with a very bright white background and nothing can be seen on the monitor screen. The battery indicator is still flashing amber. I will wait til it turns green.

There is little hope at the moment.

I have not tried the hardware reset because I cannot get the screen to display properly yet.

hardware reset is, when you remove the batteries and the ac-adapter and press the power button for 20 seconds! It releases the power saved in the notebook and sometimes helps like a wonder. :)

Thanks for that I never new that before. I will give the hardware reset a try soon, just waiting for the charging circle to complete.

I will post the result to keep you updated. Still did not why that white blank screen came up.

This is very weird... one could assume your problem would be related to the fact that you replaced the keyboard, but I can't see what could give you those problems!

Are you sure you attached the keyboard's cable firmly? Haven't you disconnected anything else while replacing it? Even by accident?

If you can't figure it out, I would reccomend checking with professional help, just in case it's a serious problem. But I can't see what could it be :?

Good luck!

I agree Lost Heaven. This should not have happened and I cannot say exactly what was the reason for it.

I am very sorry that you got problems.

How much did the new keyboard cost and where did you order it?
