Amilo 1650G - Booting from a USB memory-stick

Postby TP » Tue Oct 23, 2007 4:28 pm

Hi, I recently purchase Mandriva Linux on a bootable USB memory stick to try. Works fine on my Dell PC, but I can't get my Amilo 1650G to boot off it. I've set the boot sequence order to "removable drives - CDROM - HDD" in the BIOS, but after some initial flashing of the memory stick LED, it jumps to HDD each time :( . Doesn't the stick count as a removable drive, or do I need a BIOS upgrade or something?

Thanks in advance....
