Amilo Pi 1536 upgrade problem

Postby GrandK » Fri Oct 26, 2007 9:48 am

Hi gays!
I'm upgrade my Amilo pi 1536 video card from Radeon X1400 to nVidia 7600 go 256 mb and got a problem.
New card work correctly in text (DOS) mode only, in all graphics modes - artifacts in the screen.
I'm donut undestand is it broken graphics card (i bayed used card) or it is graphics card incompatible?

In mxm-ugrade.com said "The easiest and recommended way is a 7600. Your notebook was designed for it and will work flawlessly with it."

Can anybody halp me?

I think mxm-upgrade says it for a reason - so it's probably a broken card or it wasn't installed correctly (bad cooling? could damage the card...).

Regards
Aaron

PS: You've got the newest BIOS, right?
