display sometimes flickers....

Postby razvan » Wed Jun 28, 2006 4:02 pm

I have an Amilo A1650G....I'm very satisfied with it, except for the fact the LCD display sometimes flickers when I close or open it...this happened after 6 months of intensive use. Should I worry about this?...and if I go to a service center, how difficult it will be to fix it?..I mean, I can't let it there, because it is my work computer.

Thanks in advance for any oppinion or advice!

You should get it repaired before your warranty wears off. My old Amilo had the same problem, but I waited several months before I used the collect-and-return service.
You'll have to get along some time without your laptop... (in my case it was less than two weeks)

Thanks for the answer...well, I'm not very optimistic regarding the use of the collect and return service. Anyway, what is the technical problem, a loosey contact or what?

Yes, probably a contact or a broken cable.
