XP drivers for Amilo Xi2528

All problems with windows and windows drivers.

no problems with external display

Thanks. When I use an external LCD panel (with VGA cable) I have no problems and after wake up everything is shown on the external monitor.
But the notebook display stays always black after wake ups.
Is there a specific driver to use? I think it's because of these windows standard drivers??

hmmm.. strange. Please can you post me a screenshot of your device manager windows (with extended view, so that I can see all installed devices). Maybe I can find any differences to my configuration. Thank you.

Hi
guys with blakc screen ...
2 possibilities maybe together...
your driver for your display ( monitor) isnt atached good to your vga. Maybe the vga driver isnt good thats why ur driver wont wake up and the display remains black.
The second is like nvidia make a services for vga, so maybe this service is stop responding. For service is a tip to set if fail to restart services and if fail again to reboot the pc.
Best regards.

on XP with http://servbg.com/xi2528/VIDEO/8600mgs.rar (install 8600GS driver with update driver > select driver manually) and then with rivatuner.

Thanks for the drivers.. but I'm having issues just understanding how to install windows xp.. can anyone just list the steps that I would need to take to completely get rid of Vista and install xp? The problem I'm having is that when I boot from the xp cd, the installation does not continue because it does not recognize my hard disk, forcing me to quit setup. Can anyone please tell me how they were able to install xp??? help please!

I know it's a long time, but does anybody still have links to driver files from the servbg.com site (since the url posted by paradox is not valid anymore)?
Would be very thankful. :)
