Postby dkmxbe » Wed Nov 21, 2007 11:45 am

Hi there,

I have an amilo m1437g and I want to have 2 monitors.
A External Monitor <

I have my LCD laptop monitor and a CRT monitor
My LCD screen is my primair and the CRT is my secondary screen.
But how can I make me CRT monitor my primair?

When I go to my display settings >> right click secondary screen >> primair = disabled, I can't click it.

any ideas?

Look here: http://www.ntcompatible.com/Dual_Monito ... 28069.html

As far as I understood:
1. Plug the external monitor.
2. Fn+F4 to select it. The laptop LCD should go off.
3. Now you can assign Primery to the external.

That should happen with a dell
but it doesn't happen with my laptop

>>
1. Have ONLY the laptop screen enabled (using display->settings-> ensure that the "extend my windows desktop..." is NOT checked.
>>
then I do FN + F4 => my laptop screen doesn't go off and me external screen goes on in clone mode :?
