Hello!

I've got a small problem. I'm trying to install xp x64 on li1705 but i don't have a proper wi-fi driver, every single one which i try to install, displays something about an incorrect parameter during the install. Can someone help me please?

Did you purchase this Laptop recently? I would reccomend taking it to a computer store (i.e PC WORLD) to get it checked out.
Please tell me if this has helped!

Eleanor.
Thank you!

Ummmm i bought it somewhere in september, it came with vista basic. i managed to install xp 32bit on it and runned it succesfully but i wanted to try x64 one. only things that don't work are modem (i don't care) and wifi (i NEED it). I don't think they will help me at the store ;/ they didn't when i was in need of x32 xp drivers. The wi-fi card is atheros 5005g i guess...

Can you advise me, how did you intall this winxp? I have tried it several times, but only what have happened, is blue screen and error report about pci.sys.

I prefer XP pro is better, than Vista Basíc.

Thak you!
