Is your notebook connected to an external sound system?
If yes, plug the notebook and the sound system into different electric circuits.
If not, try another power pack.

I get this too (Amilo Pi2515), but only when the system is cold, i.e. for the first half hour after I turn on, after that it goes. This sound comes from the speaker it seems. There's another noise that comes from the powerpack after I switch off (a high pitched whine), but i've taken to unplugging the powerpack when not using the laptop, which is kinda good cus it reminds me to be ecofriendly and save power!... assuming it's not actually faulty and in the process of frying my battery.

uff.. ok, half solution:
I connect the chassis laptop to ground pin of wall socket.
the noise interference decrease a lot, but persist.

Is your notebook connected to an external sound system?

yes, via usb audio (edirol ua-1x)

If yes, plug the notebook and the sound system into different electric circuits

I tried, but nothing happened.

If not, try another power pack

mmm.. tomorrow maybe.. :P
I don't have time and cash for this. this will the last solution ;P

btw, this is a product problem?
what I can do?
any definitive solution?

sorry for my english!

byee!

Are you sure? Don't get me wrong but two different power points doesn't necessarily mean that they are in different electric circuits. Mostly all power points in one room are connected to the same circuit.
Of course this can't be a permanent solution but there are junction boxes that can decouple devices from the circuit and this test might show if it is worthy to buy one of these boxes.

Maybe you know someone who owns a compatible power pack to test it.

I looked up your sound card and saw that it has S-P/DIF. Which way does the signal from this sound card go before it becomes sound that comes out of your boxes? Is there an amplifier in between? If yes, does this amplifier support optical input?

Yes it is, but it's nothing that the support will care about.
