Silent Mode

Postby mancio1977 » Sat Jan 12, 2008 6:31 pm

Hi,
I have Amilo Si1848
with Windows Professional

How to understand if it is in Silent or Normal Mode?

I have not any On Screen Display message
when I put the putton Silent Mode.

How to understand if it is on or off?

Thanks in advance?

I had the same "problem" when switching from Vista to XP until I installed the Keyboard Manager.
There is no such programm for the 1848, but as we have the same chipset, I think the 1520-Keyboard Manager will work with your Notebook too.

Hello,
it works well about Volume Up or Down
about Volume Off
and About Internet Explorer Quick Lounch Button
but all the others features doesn't works

(i.e. Brightness More or Less and Silent or Normal Mode)

Anyone could help to solve or just to understand
why doesn't work 100% well?

All the features worked on my notebook too. The volume/brightness obviously changed, when I pressed the shortcut. I guess even the silent mode worked.
I just didn't get any visual feedback (i.e. volume/brightness-bar or fan-symbol).

I haven't tested the quick-launch-buttons until then.
