4GB of ram in my FS Amilo M3438G

Hi all!

When I Google my M3438G, always the limit is max 2GB of ram. Is it anyone that has tested to put in 2x2GB=4GB in a 3438?
I know that a 32bit OS/hardware only will use little more than 3GB of the ram. But I want to know, the memory is really cheep now, is it any point of buying more than 2GB?

Maybe the 2GB limit is only from when the computer was manufactured and it didn't exist any 2GB modules to buy?

Thanks for your answer, I'm not that good at German, but I believe that 2GB is maximum for my chipset then :/
