Postby Stahl » Wed Jan 16, 2008 7:22 pm

Hi!

I have a AMILO Xi 1526 that's totally messed up had Windows Vista Home installed on it when i got it was working all fine but then after 20weaks or something i reinstaled and formated the system and installed xp now nothing works rigth as quick something is loading the sound get messed up and starting to sound "brrrr" or some hacky sound form a sec up to four, five sec and that's totally messed up and before I did this everything was working fine like now for example I was going to install "World of Warcraft" but at the install it warned me that my CPU was way to low for this game and I can sit on msn and listen to music (that messy sound pops up form time to time) but if i start anything more the whole computer starts lagging and I have to rebot it I've tryed reinstalling Vista but when I boot the CD Vista can't find any harddrives to install it on it makes me to look for some driver of some kind have no idea what driver it want since it wont say anything more and Can't really find any harddrives at all well if i conect the usb HD it will find it.. But not the once inside it, and When I start Vista install from windows It can find the Harddrives but missing some kind of Raid Driver to install it on Harddrive... Please Help!! Don't know what to do!!!

Vista:
If you have a Drivers&Utility-DVD you should find the SATA-drivers on it and solve your problem with the HDD-detection during install.
Otherwise please have a look at the FSC-site to download your SATA-driver.

XP:
Did you install the KB888111-patch before you installed your audio-drivers? Normally this should solve your audio-problems.

I have no experience with installing Vista physically. But I think it is similar to XP.
So, either you will have to use a bootable floppy-drive or integrate the drivers into the Vista-dvd.
But this is just speculation, surely google knows more.
