You could try this:
BIOS- and Hardware-Reset (The standard solution for many problems!)
- Load in BIOS the "Setup Defaults", quit with "Save&Exit"
- Switch off the notebook, remove batteries and AC adapter, press the power button for 10 seconds

Maybe it helps...

In your case of course without the BIOS reset, just remove all power supplies. This has helped many others - it's worth a try.

I had the same problem, the CPU is throughscorched (it was dead). simply send it back to fujitsu Siemens, and let it repair.
sorry for my horrible english!

What was the problem at the end? I think I have the same problem now. When I push the power button the LEDs go on for 3 sec and then the laptop goes off. After 2 sec it starts itself the same procedure again and again. Before that problem occured there was a similar problem. When I wanted to turn it on by pushing the power button the leds go on for 2 sec and then off again, but it didn`t start again. I had to push the accu in direction of the slot and then I could push the power button again and it starts as normal.

I don`t really know what it is...please help!
Thanks a lot!
