What does your device manager tell you?
Have you 1. uninstalled your sound-driver, 2. installed KB888111, 3. reinstalled your sound driver?

If this still doesn't work, try other sound drivers. The one of the Pa 1538 should work for you:

it may sound a little stupid because its the first time i try something like that
the first time i installed the audio drivers i hadn't installed the kb888111 yet and when i installed it the drivers were still installed ...
i didnt uninstall them before installing the patch
could this be the problem or should i continue installing other drivers to find out which one works?

Ok but how did you solve your problem?I mean , was something with the setup or did you forgot the potensiometer in the front totally off and that was the reason of no sound? :D
