Hi. I reinstalled windows xp media center on my pc last week and now does my hot key to turn up and down bright dosnt work. I think it's a driver problem but i can't find the driver on www.fujitsu-siemens.com :(

Please, can someone help me! I would be happy if you could :(

the driver Aaron linked should have been the right choice...

Have you already installed all drivers available on FSC's webpage? Any errors displayed in the device manager?

Try BIOS- and hardware-reset as well (see hardware-FAQ here in the forum).

You may also update your BIOS if there is a later version available.

All my hardware is up-to-date.. Or that's what it says if i search for updates.

PS: I can turn up and down my sound with fn+f9/f10... It's only that damn brightness there dosn't work :(

have you tried to "reinstall" the driver Aaron linked?

I've solved it!

The driver isn't on FS's webpage. It was on a extra CD in my closet.
It's a driver called "Hot keys"...

hm... ok, but the hot keys driver should also be on FSC's webpage. Maybe they forgot to include it for this model, but if you search the page for this driver, you might be able to find it for some other Amilo notebook.

However, good to know. And nice that it works now ;)
