Amilo m1437g & dual channel

Postby pzero » Tue Feb 26, 2008 6:21 pm

Hello ppl, one quick question. I got my hands on a kit from Kingston, the Kingston SO-DIMM DDR2 2GB (2X1GB) 667MHZ Value RAM Dual Channel. From what I've read, my mobo's chipset doesn't support dual channel. So will this kit work on my laptop or not? It's a M1437G with 2x512mb(which by the way, cpuz says is dual channel!).

Thanks for the quick reply guys :)

@aspettl
At crucial's website ( http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/listpar ... ns&cat=RAM ) it says that dual channel is not supported. Anyways, i'll try installing them tomorrow and i'll post the results.

Thanks again guys

Just for you to know, the kit works great. And in dual channel. Now if i get a new optical drive ( cause mine just died :S), I'll be happy again...
Cheers
