Replace or re-map keys on PI 1505

Postby damonbotley » Sat Mar 01, 2008 8:38 pm

Following a beer-spill I've lost the use of the left shift and the ctrl key on my otherwise fine pi 1505. I was advised to add that both keys can be pressed & spring back but still don't work.

Having seen the price of a keyboard I'm keen to find an alternative. I have heard you can re-map keys and if this is true I'd be up for giving it a go - I'd only need to remap ctrl as obviously I've got the right shift.

Any help gratefully received to do this, or if not possible, to sort without extreme wallet-pain!

Never tried it, but this could help:

Or if you want to do it yourself:
