Out of warranty, know where I can get a V3205 mainboard?

All kinds of problems or malfunctions without known reason. Also general problems with the notebook as a whole.

My Amilo Pro V3205is all of 14 weeks out out of warranty and the power socket or some of the power circut behind it has gone bad. Dear old Fujitsu want £100 just to tell me what is wrong (I can tell them, it needs a new main board!) and won't tell me before they have had the £100 how much supply and fitting the new board will be or even if the required part is still available or if I can get hold of one to fit myself!
The spares site the Fujitsu shop links to lists lots of thing but now a replacement mainboard as far as I can see. Does anyone know where I could get hold of one (or at least a price on one)
Not very impressed to say the least, rather expensive laptop looking like it is beyond repair after only 16 months :( :(
Cheers

Maybe you can find spare parts or defective notebooks (with a working mainboard) on ebay.
Also look for the Si 1520 as it uses the same components.

Ensure that you get one with the correct CPU-socket.
