RAM slots location for Amilo v3525

Postby albe » Tue Apr 01, 2008 9:52 pm

I think the subject says it all.. I'm going to add a ram stick to my v3525 but I can't find the ram location on the manual. I'm wondering if I have to unscrew the plate on the bottom of the notebook.
Thanks.

Yes, you will have to remove the service door on the bottom side to access the RAM-slots.

Some models have one slot behind this door and the other one below the keyboard. I don't know, how the v3525 is constructed but you will see after you removed the service door.

Do not forget to take care of ESD!
This means to remove powerpack and battery, ground yourself and to not touch the RAM-pins or any other electric conductors.
