Problems with the Fan

Postby awakenings » Sun Apr 20, 2008 6:37 pm

Hi all,
just found this forum today, wished i had found this when i first got the Amilo L7320GW, would like to let you know about a problem i had when upgrading the memory on the notebook....

First off let me say though, i'm a fully qualified computer engineer and to my knowledge this is how i recieved the notebook (sorry about the picture blur, the camera wouldn't focus properly)

Normal view of the back of the notebook:

Now being an engineer i know that there should be significant airflow to the fan to allow it to cool down sufficiently to stop it from over heating. I've found this on 6 of the different series... When i approached curry's where i bought the laptop from they said its meant to be like that.

If anyones had this problem or a problem with overheating this may be the cause of it.

Thanks for looking
