hello

I have a big problem with my FS.
It doesn`t turn off.
i use a winXP OS, i have a newest drivers from an official website, i`ve check everything what i could but it`s still nothing.
after i click on Turn OFF it just turnig off, and after 2-3sec it`s turning on by itself.

whats going one?

Did you reset your BIOS settings already?

yes i did.
i didn`t reflash the bios, cause i`m affraid of guaratee lose.
maybe i should...?
i don`t want to send it to service, because the guarantee is not a "door to door" but "bring in" so it`s on my cost :(

There is no BIOS update that refers to this issue, so I doubt that'll help.

Wake on LAN is inactive?
Does your laptop have an infrared receiver for remote controls?

yes, theres an IRDa reciever. what should I do whith that?

An IRDA port shouldn't be able to cause such a problem. But some Amilos have a CIR port (consumer infrared), this one reacts to remote infrared signals. Any remote control could turn the notebook on or off... ;-)

You could try the hardware reset described in the FAQ.
