Hi friends , i need to move from vista to XP . i have an Amilo Pi 2530.
the problem is that windows XP donc find my hard disk .
i need the SATA driver for XP , i have exams and i must move to XP urgently to install somme application .

So why don't you save time and just use the search option instead of wasting time and waiting for someone to tell you that there is a how-to in this forum?

First let your laptop stay vista becouse you can get the drivers from itself.
I did it to and it worked.

then you need to install Intel Matrix Storage Managerfor the drivers.
then download Nlite make a copy of cd with nlite add the drivers with it and you can tweak it yourself to.

But when its XP there`s one slight problem.
THERE ARE NO DRIVERS FOR XP VERSION.
but if you search good you`ll find the drivers becouse i founded them
Use omega drivers
Oh yeah i almost forgot the drivers are located in C:/Program files/Intel/Intel Matrix Storage Manager/Driver/
NOT DRIVER64!!

Some specialized software doesn't work with Vista.

well i had that laptop in vista and nlite worked perfectly.
and the storage manager is for that laptop

becouse its on the dvd or cd you get when you buy it.

and nlite is for the use of making such dvd`s or cd`s on vista or xp it.
i maked over a 30 dvd`s for friends with vista and who couldn`t install it themselves.

and it always worked for me

hi,

i've got some problems installing windows xp on my amilo pi 2530. I looked up, that i've got an intel ich8m sata, so i put the drivers on a floppy via an usb-floppy-drive. windows xp setup indicates the drivers, but cannot find any hard disks anyway. I also tried to add the driver to the xp professional cd with nLite, but the problem was not solved.

what am i doing wrong?

i once installed windows xp on an desktop-system with sata by adding the appropriate drivers to the win xp cd and had no problems with it.

please help me, I am getting crazy
