Since your fan and grill should be clean now, there are only two things you can do:
1. Renew the heat-conductive paste of your CPU and GPU. This should decrease the temperature for some degrees but you will lose your warranty.

2. Get a cooler-pad. This is basically the professional version of your "CD-case-mod".
The results may vary in a wide range since it's effectiveness highly depends on the design of your notebook and the cooler-pad.
In some cases nearly nothing happens, in other cases the temperatures drop for more than 10°C.
Some hints:
- the fans of the cooler pad should be underneath the ventilation slots of your notebook
- they have to blow in the right direction (most likely upwards)
- the case of the cooler-pad should better be made of aluminium (or another metal) rather than of plastic
- a sloped design will improve the airflow

The GPU and CPU are located somewhere below the numpad i think, its the only spot that gets hot on my laptop.

I can't give you a clear advise since I don't know the exact design of your notebook.
Can you please make a photo of the bottom side of your notebook with the service door opened?
Then it would be possible to see, where the fans of a cooler-pad should be situated.

Please have a look at my notebook, to see what I mean:

There are a lot of cooler-pads on the market. Sometimes it is a bit difficult to find a suitable cooler-pad for a 17"-notebook, but it should be possible.

No, you will not lose the warranty if you open the service door.

Ok, let's try to use mine as an example.

The "golden nose" that you see on my picture (left of the RAM) is the end of the heat pipe.
The rectangular component underneath it is the CPU.
My notebook has no extra graphics card. This is why there is only one component to be cooled.
You should see a second construction like this in your notebook or your heat pipe is connected to a second component, your GPU.

If you now take a look at your service door, you will see that there are ventilation slots that cover CPU and most likely GPU.

You should watch out for a cooler-pad that has the fans in a position that corresponds to your ventilation slots.
Most likely you won't find one that is constructed perfectly but this is no problem. Just chose the one that fits best.

You will find many different cooler-pads on google if you search for something like "notebook cooler pad".
Make sure that it fits for a 17"-notebook.

Looks nice! :)

But more important than the number of fans is their position.
Do you think it is possible to place at least one of them underneath your ventilation slots still having a secure standing for your notebook?
What about the size?
And does it blow upwards or downwards?

And try to find some reviews of the cooler pad! There is a huge variety in quality.

If u turn off ur powermizer from nvidia control panel u dont get any performance drops...
But remain hot and noisee...

Ur lucky man, i have same model just not 22p, mine is 11p, it means 1,6 ghz turion x2 Tl-50 ( ftw, why tl-52 same speed, double the l2 cache, or tl54, tl60 to can play CoD4)
