cmd.exe in full screen ?

Postby d.pechilkov » Sat May 24, 2008 2:40 pm

I've got an Amilo L-6825 [CPU Intel Pentium 4, 2800 MHz (21 x 133); Chipset Intel Brookdale-G i845GEV; Graphics Controller Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV (64 MB); Monitor Digital Flat Panel (1024x768) (100012336)] under XP and I have to use some DOS applications.
When I start the application (or Command Prompt, or Run->Cmd.exe) , the DOS window is small (about 1/4 of full size) in the centre of the screen.
I have tried different graphics drivers, but there was no change.
At last I connected the notebook to an external monitor and have seen the full screen which means the monitor is the reason, not the graphics card.

The Device Manager reports: Digital Flat Panel (1024x768), Driver Povider - Microsoft, Driver Date - 06.6.2001, Driver Version - 5.1.2001.0, digitally signed.

If anybody may help me?

Thanks in advance:

Maybe there a FN key combination to switch between original size and stretched to fullscreen?

The maximum size of the DOS window is unfortunately limited. What you can also see on the screen.
