If you can Power on your Lap-top, Then electricity goes through. First thing to encounter it would be the "BIOS" or the physical chip called "CMOS".
I'm just saying it could be its failure. Bios failure.
Reading around in those forums, I found a solution. Another person had problems with its laptop too. Diferent than mine, but similar related.
They splain how to reset the BIOS. My laptop did light up the power led, but didn't go through POST.
So I did what they wrote like:
"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
A BIOS-flash is always risky. If you see absolutely nothing, maybe a hardware reset can help you.
maybe a hardware reset can help you.
How can I do this?
Remove battery and power supply an press the power button for 10 seconds.

So I did ... and Miracously, It came back to life!
So simple!
I even thought that the EPROM became completly erased, blank! Because it's missing the little battery (CR 2302) for long time!
Nice those forums that guide you out threre... if you have time to read them!
