why wont my amilo pi2515 go to sleep when i shut the lid, it used to but not any more :D :D :D :D :D

Which OS are you running?
Did you install any software recently?
How much space is left on the HDD? How big is your RAM?

98.2 gb left on system c and 72.9 left on data d

Does the screen switch off just before closing the lid?

yes it does. and then it asks for a password when i open it and press space bar or wiggle the mouse.

Ok, then it's probably a Windows setting. Can't help you there, search the control panel for energy options or something similar ;-)
