Do any of you know if there is a limit on HDD size for the Amilo pa1510? Can I establish in this notebook HDD in the size 250 Gb?
Thanks!

250GB will work.
There are HDDs available with 320GB, soon this will increase to 500GB.

It doesn't matter which drive you chose.
You will not recognise the faster interface of the Seagate.
The Seagate is specified to resist higher temperatures than the Fujitsu. But if you don't have any overheating problems the specifications of the Fujitsu will be enough

Hi everybody,
i am sorry to bring this topic up after so much time, but I think it is better to reuse it instead of opening a new one.
My question is if it is possible to install a SATA2 disk on the laptop, although it is recognized as SATA. I mean, I don't want the SATA2 speed (not supported), but most of hd now are SATA2, and I would like to install a 500Gb, 5400rpm unit on the system, but it is SATA2. Will it work? Anybody did it?
Thanks a lot and best regards

SATA 2 is downward-compatible. I don't know if there's a jumper to manually set SATA 1 mode.
