Amilo Pro V8010 - Wireless Problem

Postby Aztech » Fri Aug 18, 2006 11:35 am

I recently replaced the hard drive on my laptop. After I re-installed Windows XP and the drivers the built in wireless functionality won't work.

The Bluetooth works fine but I can't even get the system to 'see' that there's wireless hardware installed. What seems strange is that they (BT & WiFi) are integrated and both worked well before I replaced the hard drive.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Would doing a Bios flash help? I am very reluctant to do that and would prefer to leave as a very last resort.

I don't think so.

There is no unknown device in Windows and also no WLAN device?
Maybe the Mini PCI card isn't properly installed.
