Amilo V3515 - how to disassemble

Postby Ed Gasket » Sun Jun 22, 2008 12:29 pm

I have an Amilo V1515 which has a screen flickering problem when typing around the 0 or F12 keys and when just tapping the case just above these keys. I am thinking it must be a dry solder joint that has cracked away due to heat. Does anyone know how to access the screen cable connectors in the main base of the unit? or any disassembly guide for a V3515 or similar would be most useful.
Would this be worth returning to Fujitsu for; it should still be under warranty as I have had it for less than 1 year but their website says my warranty expied back in May??
I have read some poor reports of Fujitsu service e.g. laptop gone for 3 months and comes back damaged. As my fault is only slight, it seems hardly worth returning though the problem could get worse with time.
Thanks for any help
