Good Day All.
I have a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo M7400 laptop, and I am having grate problems gettings the WiFi to work in Vista.
I know this laptop was ship and preprogramed with Windows XP, The master restore cd's have been lost so I wiped the Hard Drive and installed Vista.
Vista installed without any problems, Video, Sound, Lan, Ect, all working fine, But have been unable to get WiFi working.
On the bottom of the screen is a WiFi LED this is norm lit but no matter how meny times I press the WiFi Button next to the keyboard the LED does not come on, I have tried the Launch Manager (v1.0. witch is ment for the M7400 this does not seems to work in Vista, I have also tried a few other versions of the Launch Manager, with no luck.
I have also fitted and installed a dif WiFi card into the laptop but this also does not work.
I have also tried the fujitsu-siemens WiFi Drivers & Intels WiFi Drivers, just incase there was any hope of it working.
From what I have been reading this seems to be a very common problem.
Has anyone got any ideas of what I can try from here?
Thanks for your time.
