Wireless not working - Ethernet controller problem

Postby espresso » Sat Jun 28, 2008 1:26 am

Hi.
I have just bought Pi 2512 and managed to install XP and all drivers thanks to instructions on this forum.
I only have a problem with Ethernet Controller which can't be installed for some reason. So I don't have wireless.
Here's what it looks like in the device manager:

Can anyone tell me what driver can solve this problem. I'd really like to use XP on this laptop.

Chipset: Intel® Mobile 965GM/PM Express Chipset
LAN: Realtek - RTL8101E
WLAN: Intel® PRO/Wireless LAN 3945ABG

hello everybody,

i have the same problem with my amilo A1650G and tried a friend's suggestion.
i used this program "drivers checker" which installs every driver automatically, but during the wlan driver's installation it saws me the following message: "qmi module not exist".

i have tried all the probable solutions that found by googling but nothing yet.

i wish somebody here can help me out with this issue

thanks
ilbar
