Hmm, true.

Does normal electronic stores do this? Or must I find some other computer pros?

Stores of big electronics trade chains will not do it.
You should try to find a specialist dealer for computers, a TV technician or some other electronics craftsman.

You can also do it on your own. You will find some posts about it in the forum or how-to's in the internet.
But you should have in mind that replacing the CPU will void your warranty, no matter who does the upgrade.

I know all that. I will not take the chance of doing it myself.

Are you sure my fan will handle this?

The CPUs are in the official datasheet and the TDP is the same like for your current CPU. So there should be no problem with cooling.

One more thing. Is this the right one? http://www.multicom.no/PartDetail.aspx? ... 36124;r:pg
It doesn't say what socket type it is, and I'm unsure if this is for laptops.

Thanks mate. I just bought more RAM. The CPU seller told me that the T8100 will be cheaper after christmas so I'm buying it then. It's really expensive right now :)
