USB numerical keyboard - problem

Postby kamerek » Tue Aug 22, 2006 5:41 pm

I have external usb numerical keyboard connected to amilo a 1650g and Numlock on external one seems to work paralelly with the notebook keyboard numlock. Problem is - when numlock in external keybo' is activated I cant type IOPJKLM letters cause they work in numeriical mode - but the numerical keyboard in notebook should be disabled automatically when the usb numerical external) is connected..

any solutions?

Does "IOPJKLM" on your USB keyboard work when you have Numlock activated?

usb keyboard is only numerical - ( numeric keypad)

problem is - when I enable usb external numerical keyboard - the numerical keys from notebook, which work also as letters : i,o,p,kl,m are in "numerical mode"

I assume - the external keyboard should automatically switch off numlock in the notebook's keyboard, but it doesnt..

here it is num-keyboard (usb)

question still is - is it normal reaction that numlock pressed on numerical keyboard (external usb) makes notebook's numlock enabled too ;) ?
