I have a cd with Windows XP Pro on it. When I first booted from the cd, he only found my 1 GB SD card to put XP on. It seemed that the card was "FAT". So I looked things up on google, and it appears XP works with FAT-drives, and because I only have NTFS partitions, I figured that was the problem...
I erased a partition volume (30GB < 32GB, max for FAT32) so it would be marked as a "FAT". But the only other option was FAT32, but I thought that didn't matter.
But now it seems that it actually does matter, because he still can't find my FAT32-harddisk.
I hope one of you can help me with my problem.
FYI: The partition I used was the 45 GB back-up drive, split that one into 30 and 15 GB, and converted the 30 GB to FAT32. So it isn't an external disk. Don't know if this information matters, but wanted to add this
