Gentoo on V2030

I use a kernel param of "vga=791" (amoung my normal others) to get the screen resolution of 1024x768 during boot. But on Gentoo this dosent want to work, Gentoo dosent want to boot with this kernel param... any help?

I got a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Pro V2030

Look for options in this category:
Device drivers / Graphics support

(Support for framebuffer devices, Console display driver support... I don't know exactly which options you have to select.)

Then try to find something with "dmesg", e.g. "dmesg | grep fb" and "dmesg | grep vga".

I have gentoo 2006.1 on my amilopro 2030 too and I have got to work this one.

Graphics support

Console display driver support --->

Logo configuration --->
[*] Bootup logo
[*] Standard 224-color Linux logo
