dissapearing cursor

Postby nwhessian » Sun Sep 21, 2008 1:41 pm

Hi
Is their a way of making the cursor more visible when moving around in word etc, it has a tendancy to dissapear and can take a while to find it?
I have an Amilo 1818 with vista home premium.
Also can i switch of or reduce the sensitivity of the mouse pad? Im always tapping it, really lightly while typing, it moves the cursor somewhere else and i end up with text or jumbled up!

You can use another design scheme which increases the size and the contrast of the mouse cursor.
In Linux there are applications that put some icon in the task bar which always points at the mouse cursor. I'm sure something similar exists for Windows.

I don't know if you can deactivate the touchpad. Some notebook models allow this, some don't. Some drivers allow to disable the touchpad, I don't know if yours does.
