It's under the keyboard.

You have to remove the screw on the underside of the notebook labeled with K/B and open the clamps above the keys F2 & F3 and Insert & Delete.
Then carefully lift the keyboard unplug the keyboard cable and remove it.
After installing the RAM repeat everything in reverse order (make sure to not damage the keyboard cable).

A more general tip:
Take care to prevent ESD.

thanks indeed! going to unmount the keyboard then (i noticed the KB screw, but I diddnt notice the clamps). further thing. could you please tell me, if i can installa mini pci tv tuner? can you suggest any working model, please? as i see, the laptop doesnt have an antenna-in plug :-(

Unfortunately I can't tell you if a PCI-E-tuner can be installed. I don't know the Xi 2550 very well I just remembered that there was a similar thread about the RAM in the german forum that I basically just translated.

Theoretically a tuner should work but you would have to modify the case for the antenna plug which means you would lose your warranty. Maybe there is a better solution via Expresscard.
