Amilo pa 2548 remove key

Postby JamieNOR » Wed Oct 01, 2008 12:33 am

Hi
I have a Amile PA 2548. I need help with how to remove one of the keys, to clean under it.
Someone that can tell me how to remove and put the key back?

Thanks!

To drag this topic back up a couple of years later; I'm having the same problem. I've ordered a replacement keyboard and I want to make sure that I don't spend a lot of time unnecessarily disassembling my computer (though it seens to be slowly dismantling itself as the screws underneath keep falling out!).

I know that some Amilos have little clips under the keys and don't need much disassembly; but I don't think mine is one of those. Can anyone clarify what I need to do?

Thanks a lot!

It seems that nobody reading here has exactly this model and did this before.

Why do you think yours isn't one of those?
In general there are some clips and (not for all models) a screw.
