some people say you will have bluescreens with drivers 9x.xx. This is because of HD support which is not supported by the GeForceGo -> bluescreen.

There is a workaround.
http://www.amilo-forum.de/topic,10515,- ... eware.html

You have to delete the line
HKLM,"Software\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NVTweak",NvCplEnableHDMIColorRange, %REG_DWORD%, 1
in the inf file.

There is no "best" driver. The best driver is defined by the applications you use.

For gaming I serious advise the 91.31 driver. I have the same laptop as you, tried many drivers, did many benchmarkings, and this one is by far the most stable and by little, the better performing one. The newer drivers that came out after it (don't know why) have been showing poorer results on 3Dmark programs.

For gaming, at this time, definitly the 91.31.

As Borkar said, the 6800 Go will not work with drivers after 83.?? (I don't remember now, but I think it's 83.xx or 84.xx). For instaling newer drivers you have to update your bios to the 39.60 version. Be very carefull doing this, as you can permanetly inutilize your GPU. I did it with no problems.

I hope I helped. If you're going in with the flashing, check this forum for needed files and instructions: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?

Good luck!

That's right,mate.
For all the people who don't believe it,just install Hitman 4 and set all settings on high.Than try to play it with th 91.31 and an old driver(like an 8x.xx).
You will really see the difference.

Have that game here but didn't installed it yet. I'm currently playing Hitman 2 again. I just love that game, it's timeless. And after that I want to play Hitman 3. By the time I will finally play the 4, everybody else will playing Hitman 6

Ok, end of off-topic. Go for the 91.31, or try the 91.33 and see if you have any problem with it.

If you want to overclock,I've just read, that the best driver, the 83.40 is,if you have the video bios 39.60. and you want to use the powerstrip tool.

If I flash it,my card will be better and more stable? Now I'm using RC2 with no forceware, but I can use Aero. If I flash and use forceware, I'm afraid it will be unstable. I'm Vietnamese, live in czech, and don't understand german

The drivers have been updated (=the INF from laptopvideo2go) and since then I have no problems with 9x.xx drivers - just now using 95.97 (but there is no point to go past about 83.xx)

Just to let you guys know something: it's true that the 91.33 is the driver with the best performance results so far. The thing is, I recently discovered that nVidia has enabled on a recent driver, all the 6800 GPUs to use Multi Sampling and Super Sampling, wich adds a considerable improvement to image quality. I don't remember what driver was that, but I know it was after the 91.33. Now I'm using 96.89, and yes, I notice a slight performance loss, but having the possibility to use Super and Multi Sampling is great. I'm sure this will add some months of lifetime to all the 6800s out there.

So to sum this up: the driver I would recomend to the 6800 Go (and other 6800s) is 96.89. If you're looking for maximum performance, you should choose 91.33 (or 91.31, if you have problems with it).

Hi, does the v91.33 have the Multi/Super-sampling?

What sort of performance hit are you seeing between the 96.89 vs. the 91.33?

What is the latest GPU Bios? I currently have v5.41.02.39.60

Thanks.
