Ok, I think that your keyboard doesn't work as well - at least not in Windows.

Can you start Windows in safe mode and login there?
To get into safe mode press F8 multiple times during boot and chose the appropriate entry in the menu.
It should look like this (maybe the names differ due to your systems language):

If your notebook starts in safe mode it should automatically detect your mouse and keyboard and inform you about this. If it doesn't start go to control panel -> add hardware and let it search automatically.

Do I get you right, that you still can't use mouse or keyboard from the moment you see the login screen?

If this is true I would recommend you to backup your data and reinstall windows. Hopefully this will solve the problem with your DVD drive too.
To backup your data either attach the HDD of your notebook to another computer (you will need an adapter) or boot from a live-CD and save the data to a USB-stick, or an external hard drive.

I would recommend to try it with a Live-CD like Xubuntu (Hardy Heron) (chose: PC (Intel x86) desktop CD). Download the image (550MB), burn it to a CD (CD-RW & DVD works too) and boot your notebook from it.
Most likely your language is supported and HDDs and USB-Sticks will be detected automatically. If you can't see them on the desktop you will find them as /media/sda, /media/sdb ... with the Thunar File Manager in the Applications-menu.

Did you change your boot priority to the DVD drive and did Xubuntu boot correctly?
i.e. did you see this screen, selected your language and chose the first entry in the menu?:

Ok, can you please try to boot the CD in another computer just to make sure that it was burned correctly?
If this is successful do a hardware reset on your notebook (remove battery and powerpack and try to boot from the CD again).
If this still doesn't work I agree that you will need a new drive.

I try to boot the cd in my desktop pc and the installation screen came up as normal. So i do need a new drive how much do you think that would cost? There is no warranty anymore so i would have call the local Fujitsu/Siemens repair partner.

I don't know where you are from, so I can't look up prices in your country.
In germany slim line DVD drives start at 40 euros and go up to 100 euros while most drives are cheaper than 60 euros.

You should be able to replace the drive on your own. I don't know how your notebook is constucted but basically it means to remove one or more screws from the underside of the notebook. Then you can pull out the old drive and insert a new one.
Maybe you will have to reuse the blind of your old drive because some notebooks have a special shape in the area where the DVD drive is located. You will see this.

The drive there on the notebook is a MATSHITA COMBO CD burner/DVD reader.

I looked it up and there is nothing special about this drive:
http://www.xlr8yourmac.com/pb_g3/oem_combo_drives/notebook_combo_drive.html

Replacing the drive shouldn't be harder than replacing the drive of a desktop-PC. The only thing that might become difficult is to find the right screws you have to remove. And the drive might sit tight in the notebook-case.
In the german forum we have some photos of notebooks. One of them is as A1650 which might have some similarities with yours:
https://www.amilo-forum.de/download/file.php?id=3150&mode=view
The DVD-drive is situated behind the license-sticker and I think removing the two screws left and right above the sticker should allow to remove the drive. May be it's the same for your notebook.

If you don't want to do it on your own, every computer store should be able to replace the drive. You don't have to contact a FSC partner.

Sorry I don't know what you mean with "hole" in this context. Can you reformulate this, please?

What was trying to say was there are 3 open places in the laptop. Where do I put the new drive bavk laptop?

There is something i have not toll you, is that the only hardware i replace in my desktop pc is the sound card, and when i am cleaning the pc i remove some part i know how to fix again.

PS: Please look up prices in my country but maybe you don`t understand the language

I don't know exactly what is your problem. Obviously the new DVD drive has to be inserted into the same slot where the old one was situated.

It seems like danish online shops sell slim line drives between 500 and 800kr. This is a little bit more expensive than in germany (500kr = 60 euro) but still ok I think.
Some examples:
http://www.compumail.dk/vare-oversigt.php?varenummer=21798
http://shopping.kelkoo.dk/ssc-100254023-slimline-dvd-cd-drev.html
http://computerstore.dk/shop/VareKort.asp?vn=CDRHP0030
But since I don't know danish online shops I can't tell you which one is reliable and which one is not.

I think the easiest and safest way would be to cary your notebook to a local computer store and ask them to replace the drive. The will chose the right replacement drive and you don't have to care about how to change it.
