My drive is dead can anyone tell me how can i change the drive?and which models of dvd-rw is correct for my laptop?

Open the drive, remove the central screw on the underside of the notebook and pull the drive out of the case. Maybe you will have to pull a little harder since the connector sits pretty tight.
I don't know which other drives will fit, but mine does.
